Itinerary

Day 1January 3, 2026: Arrival in Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, transfer will be arranged to the chosen riad: Riad Bahía Salam, Riad Tassili, or Riad Zalag. After settling in, a guided tour with an Italian-speaking local guide will begin. The tour will include key highlights of Marrakech’s Medina, such as the bustling Jemaa el-Fna Square, the majestic exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, and the vibrant traditional souks. This introduction to the city offers a taste of Marrakech’s unique atmosphere. The day concludes with a return to the riad for an optional dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2January 4, 2026: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Zagora

In the morning, the journey begins through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several stops for photos are planned to capture the stunning scenery. The first stop is Ouarzazate, featuring a visit to the historic Kasbah Taourirt and, optionally, the film studios that hosted numerous international productions. The journey continues to Zagora, with a stop at Tamegroute, famous for its green pottery and historic Quranic library (if accessible). Upon arrival in Zagora, guests will settle at La Palmerai Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3January 5, 2026: Zagora – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga

The day begins with a journey from Zagora to Alnif, with a stop for coffee and lunch. Continuing to Rissani, guests will visit the traditional local market, a cultural and trade hub in the region (if it is market day). In the afternoon, arrival in Merzouga marks the start of an exciting desert experience: a camel trek to a luxury tented camp. Guests will settle at Luxury Bahba Camp, enjoy a traditional dinner, and spend an unforgettable evening under the stars, accompanied by Berber music.

Day 4January 6, 2026: Merzouga

This day is dedicated to exploring the desert and discovering local traditions. The morning features a visit to Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music, and interactions with nomadic families to learn about their unique way of life. In the afternoon, optional activities such as quad or buggy excursions over the majestic sand dunes will be available (not included in the program). The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at Sáhara Happy Camp.

Day 5January 7, 2026: Merzouga – Boumalne Dades

After breakfast, the journey continues from Merzouga to Boumalne Dades. Along the way, guests will pass through spectacular landscapes and visit the Amridil Kasbah, a remarkable architectural treasure in the Valley of Roses. Upon reaching the Dades Valley, guests will admire the impressive gorges that characterize this region. The evening includes dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Boumalne Dades.

Day 6January 8, 2026: Boumalne Dades – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

The tour proceeds to Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests will explore the ancient kasbahs and uncover the history of this iconic site, often used as a movie set. In the afternoon, the transfer back to Marrakech signals a return to the vibrant city, where guests can relax at their riad and enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant (dinner not included).

Day 7January 9, 2026: Marrakech – Ourika Waterfalls – Departure

The morning will be free for shopping in the souks or further exploration of the city. For those interested, an optional excursion to the Ourika Valley can be arranged, including a hike to the picturesque waterfalls. In the afternoon, guests will be transferred to Marrakech airport for their return flight. We wish everyone a safe return and an unforgettable journey!
